You are not a fixed thing, you are more like a river, a song, an emergent event in the universe.
We are sailing in wild seas these days, riding waves of chaos, disruption, uncertainty and fear. Whatever practices and skills we have mastered so far are being tested. And we are being asked to develop new capacities, new ways of navigating our lives.
The disruption of Covid 19 has been a shock for everyone. And yet this collapse, this breakdown of normal carries its own medicine, its surprising gifts, if we are ready to receive them. One of the primary gifts is this: When we are stopped in our tracks we have a chance to reconnect with what is essential. We can listen to our hearts, our bodies, our deeper knowing, and discover what really matters to us, in a way that may be new, and quite surprising.
Our mainstream culture has confined our knowing for a long time to our mental cognition, and to the sense of being a separate and isolated self. In this time of crisis, we have a precious opportunity to discover other ways of knowing, to begin to navigate our lives without clinging to the certainty of our left brain. We can turn toward the humility, vulnerability, and transparency of our heart wisdom, our body, and our soul. And in this turning, we can enter, not only in ourselves, but with others, a kind of coherence, a whole body resonance we may have not known before now.

You grow and evolve in stages on your human journey. What seems important and essential at one stage is no longer what really matters at another stage. It’s very important to be aware of this, or you will make one way of being your final destination, which it is not. Wherever you are in your journey is a fine place to be, as long as you don’t decide to make it a permanent home. You need to remain open to the flow of your own evolution, to inhabiting your wholeness, as it emerges.
Our work happens in a shared space of living presence, through which we listen to, follow, and respect the wisdom of your body, your core, your heart. Sometimes it feels like learning a new language. In this higher frequency, we make contact with inner resources and capacities that begin to emerge when we make contact with the fluid, living wisdom of the body. Through dialogue, somatic inquiry, embodied meditation and energetic practices, you realize that you can show up in a way that is open and courageous, and make choices you have never made before.
This is the bright home
in which I live
This is where
I ask
my friends
to come
this is where I want
to love all the things
it has taken me so long
to learn to love.
