‘I would love to live like a river flows, carried by the surprise of its own unfolding’

-John O’Donohue

What is it that calls us into the territory of the soul? Often it’s a longing for a much deeper and more authentic life. Or a sense that this dimension of who you are might be vaster and more adventurous than you can imagine. Or a feeling that something is missing, that some essential part of you wants to be called back here, so you can include it in your human life.

“Every time we evolve, or awaken, we have to go back and pick up the parts of ourselves that we have left behind, and bring them forward, so they can be part of our life. And we haven’t yet really learned how. Because it’s about opening to a much deeper love.” Adya Shanti
We don’t have to know what this calling, this longing for the soul is, with our mind. It doesn’t need to be explained or justified. It’s not asking for this from you. It’s just asking that you respond, instead of ignoring it, pushing it into the background again. Let this impulse, this longing come alive in you. It’s spring now–time for small seeds to be watered with your presence, your willingness and your love. Opening to who you are on the soul level is a tender, potent, and truly surprising unfolding.

Who would you be if you learned how to listen to the voice of your soul? Who would you be if you followed that voice, gave yourself to it?

White HeronHow long has the magnificence, the deep aliveness of your soul been waiting to express itself?   What has it cost  you to turn away from the desires, the longing, the passion of your soul?

If you think you can answer these questions on your own, I invite you to consider another possibility: step into a container that allows you to dive deep into the territory of the soul. This is the subtle world, the inner world, the world  of feeling,  of sensation, of image, of the body.

Another kind of intelligence is ready to awaken in you. Another kind of life is waiting to emerge. A new self is waiting to reveal itself to you. You don’t have to do this alone. You can’t actually. Because you are not separate from the web of life itself.

The impulse to evolve, to embody your most authentic being, does not belong only to you. It is part of a vast field. Your grandmothers and grandfathers are here, your inner allies, your hidden resources-the dreams you forgot about long ago.

Find out how to listen with your breath, with your belly, from the depth of your heart. Let your authentic life be the gift you are willing to give, now. Discover what happens when you allow yourself to receive what life is offering you, now.  And see what opens in your heart and body when you learn how to hear what life is asking you for.

The soul is interested in deep contact with life, in an intimacy that awakens, enlivens and transforms.

Plant Again

You can water the seeds of this new life within you, and learn to tend it with the radiance of your vision. You can make this fierce commitment to your own soul, this fiery and loving being– that you will never give up, no matter what it takes. You will take this journey of embodiment,of expressing the depths and the beauty and the uniqueness of who you are.

We will be practicing together, in a shared space of loving presence. Inside this ‘we space’, we discover that we can soften and remain connected in the places where we have habitually closed down and withdrawn from contact with other people. As we meet and connect in this shared space, we discover how to welcome and embrace the feelings, experiences and parts of our own being that we have pushed away. We are able to face and accept the things we have been resisting and fighting against. We learn to listen deeply to our heart, our soul, to what really wants to happen in our life. Responding in a real way to this deeper intention opens up new doorways, new pathways, inside us and outside. This deeper embrace of  we are, in each moment, is what heals, liberates and transforms.

In the space we create together, we witness each other. Not from a detached place, but from a place of deep intimacy. Being witnessed, being able to witness, is a catalytic practice. It changes us, it re-wires our whole experience of being separate and unsupported.

“We need a witness to our lives. There are seven billion people on this planet– what does any one life really mean? Within the depth of our connection, I am saying, “Your life will not go unnoticed, because I will notice it. Your life will not go unwitnessed, because I will be your witness.” (adapted from the movie, “Shall We Dance?’)

Our work together will include dialogue and conversation, meditation, inquiry, energetic practices and small group exercises.

It’s getting down to the naked truth. I come with all of these stories, and we peel them away, to get to what is true, right now. When I come here, I drop into a whole different energy, into something deeper, that needs to be heard.” (Ali Roux, Nelson BC)

“I was told that these days with you would be transformational. They truly are. Thank you for your breadth of knowledge that translates into a practical and lasting path to effortless being, and to a life clear of emotional trappings, like revenge, resentment and fear.”  (Julie S, Canmore, Alberta)

“Life didn’t miraculously change and become perfect after the workshop, but it sure began a monumental shift.”
(Kathleen Turner, Golden Lake, Ontario)
